Let’s gear up to exhibit your talent by participating in this cutting edge Line Following Robot competition. This competition intends to challenge participants to program an Arduino based robot that could follow a black line over white background and intelligently sense and avoid obstacles in front of it. Arduino board, sensors and all equipment will be provided to participants and they need to program it by considering all criterion given for this contest
There will be two rounds of this competition:
Line Following(1st Round):
In this round participants will be allowed to use infra red sensors through which their robot will follow a black line path over white background.
Maze Runner(2nd Round):
In this round participants will have to use another sensor in such a way that it can solve a maze path. The Maze will have black lines on which the robot will move and some obstacles that the robot should avoid and continue it's path. It has to be programmed in such a way that if it's path is blocked it returns back to initial position and start a new path.The arena will be available for participants well before the event for further elaboration.
RoboWars (3rd round optional):
In this round participants will have to design their robot to compete with other robots. Their will be a ring in which robots through a bluetooth module will have to force the opponent robots out of the ring.The arena will be available for participants well before the event for further elaboration.
For first round:
The robot that completes the line with shortest period of time and with less number of diversions will win.
For second round:
The robot that completes the maze in shortest period of time with least amount of collisions with obstacles will win. In case the robots aren't able to complete the maze they will be judged on their line following capability and programming strategy.
For third Round:
The robot who accomplishes to stay in the ring till last moment wins.
1. Number of maximum participants allowed per team will be 5.
2. Participants are supposed to bring their own laptops.
3. Arduino equipped Robots along with IR sensors will be provided to participants.
4. Following programming Environment can be use:

5. Only one member per team will be allowed to look after the robot while performing in arena.
6. Any unfair or misbehave by participants will lead to disqualification.
7. ProBattle’20 management reserves the right to change these rules without any prior notice.
